Sunday night

I am now going to tell you a little bit about my sunday night. Since I have so many pictures to post I'm taking a break to write instead. Last night I worked because Lori and Charlie had a fancy dinner.
The kids were so cute, as soon as they got home from Andover they ran down to my room to hung out with me. Arno had a birthdayparty at Skyzone so he left pretty early. Mirea and I decided (or she did) to order pizza and watch some tv-shows, but since non of the pizza-places with home delivery were open we planned to go to Cabot's instead. We were going to pick Arno up at 6.30 so we had to leave pretty early to Cabot's. We ended up with almost no time at all, so we had to eat in 10 minutes if we wanted to be in time to pick Arno up. We left Cabot's at 6.05pm which was rather late since it took about 25-30 minutes to get to skyzone. Mirea, ofcourse, didn't realize that we were running late, but after awhile we were on our way. I had printed out directions before, but in these cases a gps would be really helpful.......... as you can understand it was a little bit hard to find. Mirea was talking and singing in the car, she also had to go to the bathroom, we were late and after awhile - also lost. I think I did a pretty good job remembering from last time I was there which was February? March? I don't know, but I wasn't even the driver that time.
After ten minutes Lori called us and said that Arno could go with his friend home. And so he did. But now we were already lost. We drove around for awhile Mirea said like a hundred times that she knew where we were, but then said "oh, no, that wasn't here".. which was pretty frustrating..
Anyway. After awhile we saw a sign that said Newton so I followed it. It was the only newton sign, Ofcourse, but later on we ended up at Beaver - the camp the kids goes to. I don't know how we got there, but it was a relieve to see something you recognized. We picked Arno up at his friends house, the parents were really understanding and easy-going, which made me feel better. Mirea and I had so much fun about this trip - being totally lost and suddenly ending up at Beaver.. After that we went to Cabot's for ice cream and then we went back home to watch Mulan.
Crazy night, bye.

Jumpsuit

I bought this cute jeans-jumpsuit at Forever 21. Love it!

State-album

As I said, we went to Michael's. I bought some stuff for an album with the states I've been in.

My plan is to put a picture of me from every state. But I'll do that when I get back home to Sweden.

Crafty USA-presents

Julia and I went to Michael's and found some stuff to decorate as goodbye-presents to Madde and Terese.

Bought this fabric bag to Terese since she always has  one like this when she travels. It's more like a joke..

Julia made a toilet-bag for Madde.

She wasn't really happy with the result, but it ended up pretty well afterall.

This is what my room looked like... meeeessy.

Canoeing

We had canoeing as an LCC-meeting this month. We had so much fun!!
Julia and I picked up a german girl called Marleen and went to Newton's kayak on Charles River.
When we were there we three shared a canoe and had a competition with Louise, Linus and Christoffer - three other sweds. Louise lives on Julia's street and we have seen Linus before.
Anyway, we had so much fun and kept splashing water on each other, it was a hot day and the water was warm, so afterwards we took a swim with our clothes on.

4th of July Fireworks

After our lunch we went into Boston Harbor. There is this amazing guitar-player who always plays there. Everybody just gets relaxed when they hear him.

Suddenly it was dark. Prudential Tower in the colors of the american flag.

Buses all over on the streets.

Happy 4th of July!!

It was so cozy, people brought blankets and just sat there enjoying the moment together.

It was so crowded when everybody was leaving. We walked to Fenway, it took about 45 minutes and we still had to wait for another three filled trains until there was room for us. But it was a good 4th of July!

Crystal Lake

We did it!! for the second time this year!

4th of July brunch and lunch

A picture from our american brunch.

We went to Crystal lake inbetween here, will post pictures soon. Here it's lunch time and we grilled hamburgers.

Blue Line Adventure

Since Terese and I both were off we planned to do a daytrip. I had plenty of places I wanted to visit, but she was fine with juast walking around in the Boston area. So we went to Revere Beach with the blue line and walked towards town again. The weather was extremely hot and I think I finished about three waterbottles during our walk.

A really cute ice cream-place. Reminded me about sweden somehow. A coast-store.

It's not a very good picture, but there are telephone-poles all the way down to the sea. It looked a bit american!

We walked about 3 t-stops and it took about 2-3 hours. It was nice to see something we hadn't seen before and this coast-side is really beautiful! After this we went to a frozen custard-place near Terese's. It was good, almost like "mjukglass". Terese fell in love andthinks that will be the new "cheesecake" for her. After that we took the bus to Terese's place, sweaty and hot, in desperate need of a break from the sun, so we started to watch Saltkråkan. After that, Julia was off and we went to UNO's close to Terese. Madde went to her one-month-long trip to Sweden etc with her hostfamily, so she won't join us for awhile.

The food at Uno's was good, I had chicken and mashed potatoes with broccoli. Really good!
After this we went shopping for our american 4th-of July celebration. We planned to have a big brunch and make bbq-hamburgers for lunch.

Pancake-dinner

Terese is off work for a couple of weeks now, so during this free time i've had (Lori texted me that I didn't have to pick Arno up this Tuesdagy either) we've been hanging out together. We just chilled at her place and made pancake-dinner of swedish pancakes.

Monday

Well, well, well. Today it was Monday. Again.
It felt kind of boring to go bavk to normal after such a good weekend, but I had to think this is a short week after all. I work Wednesday morning too, then I'm off. It's 4th of July so everybody is celebrating and my family is going to NH. We are going to Martha's vineyard Saturday to Sunday - I am very excited. We're going to stay at a sleepingroom for 16 people, I haven't done that before..haha.
Well, today I had a bad day in the beginning but it turned out to be pretty good later on. I was worried about my bank-stuff, that someone/something has been taking money from me every month, and I also worried about me and Fanny going to NY - when I would be able to book the tickets. Lori told me to wait since she is going to D.C some day and doesn't know when. It's really frustrating to have to book everything in the last minute when it's not even your fault. I called Julia and skyped with mom and dad. It felt better after that, even though it didn't solve any of my problems. But still.
I was also kind of tired when Lori said she would go out for dinner tonight. I had plans, but of course I had to agree to work. She said Charlie would be home earlier than usually, but I didn't really believe that. It turned out to be true, so I could go meet my friends anyway. During my free time today I walked to Cold Spring Park to play tennis with Emelie. It was so much fun!! We've talked about that since forever and I was so excited, and it fulfilled my expectations! We have to do that again!!
Arno and I had a really good time together, we had swordfight and he helped me to cook hamburgers. We laughed a lot and had ticklefights. It felt good that both Lori and Charlie saw how much fun we actually had. I wasn't fake-laughing at all. Arno is the cutest kid in the world. I for sure will miss him when I am gone.
When I was off I took the T into Newton Center to go to Panera. Julia, Terese and this new girl, Matilda, had dinner, but since I had already eaten I just hung out. Later we went to Sweet Tarts. I know I shouldn't eat that stuff but it's really hard to be strong all by yourself. And it was such a hot night too. I didn't take that much either (as you can see - I know my excuses). We had a good time together and decided to go see The Heat with Sandra Bulock tomorrow. We'll see what happens. Now it's late and I will go to bed. Talk to you tomorrow! Love

Sleepover weekend at Terese's house

Breakfast in her yard, yum!

Three little nerds with ipads and computers. I am a nerd only though.

Saturday during the day we went to framingham movietheatre to see white house down, I'm just telling you - YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!! Not because of Channing Tatum (well, he doesn't make anything worse!!!) but it was a really good movie. I think it will come to Sweden in September!

BBQ-night after the movie!!

I played on Terese's kids guitar until my fingers were bright red and swollen. It was amazing!

Julia had a marshmallow-competition with herself!

We ate cheese-hearts from Sweden that Terese's parents sent her. they were fun to play with!

After this we watched the good part in Titanic and Så som i himelen.
Julia and I slept in Terese's room. We stayed up late just talking about everything. It's so cozy with sleepovers!
